Handi-Foam® E-84 Class 1 Fire Retardant Spray foams have all the same properties and advantages of our standard Two-Component foams but are also rated for applications requiring a fire retardant insulation meeting ASTM E-84 Class 1 standards. E-84 Foam Kits are ideal for applications around or near heat producing machinery or for areas where the foam will not be covered with drywall or other approved thermal barrier after it’s application. Handi-Foam® E-84 is closed cell, has a density of 1.75 lbs per cubic foot and an R-value of 6-7 per inch. E-84 Foam Kits are tack-free in less than a minute, can be trimmed and cut in 2-5 minutes and are completely cured in several hours. 160 oz - Gun Foam with Accessories

Important Requirement

Respirator Masks are required when applying two-component spray foam insulation.  A mask with organic vapor filters and a prefilter for particulates is required.

Respirator Mask sold on our Safety Equipment page.

Product Description:

40 Series Gun Foam with Accessories can be ordered either with or without hoses and applicators. Handi-Foam® Cylinder Foam, like our straw foams, is tack free in less than 10 minutes and fully cured in approximately one hour.
.

**These canisters are basically large cans of one-component straw foam. They come with a 9½' hose and brass applicator tip. The option is the brass fitting can be replaced with hose and adapter ($20.08-#F61125) that allows the hose to be fitted to the bottom of the Convertible dispensing unit gun (#F61110) above. For better controlled application, coverage and continuous use of these canisters by a tradesman, the gun & conversion kit is recommended. One time users are fine with the way it comes and don't need to order the dispensing gun.
